O telefone possui um leitor / escritor RFID (e um logotipo estranho que parece combinar um sonhcast com RSS). O aplicativo de descoberta de serviço do telefone lê as tags RFID que encontram. Os dados de leitura podem acionar uma variedade de ações: disque um número, envie um SMS pré-definido ou carregue um URL. Timo colocou uma matriz de tags RFID sob a superfície de sua mesa. Ele então gravou diferentes ações para cada tag e colocou uma nota post-it correspondente responsável na superfície da mesa acima de cada tag. Então, descansando o telefone em “Call Jack”, o telefone carregaria o número. Quando ele entra no escritório, ele pode definir o telefone “Estou no escritório” e uma mensagem de texto será enviada. Ele tem alguns pensamentos interessantes sobre este sistema. Isso o fez muito consciente de onde ele tinha que colocar o telefone quando ele não queria que fizesse nada. Timo também se pergunta como seus conhecidos sentiriam se eles se encontraram em sua área de trabalho.
